What is the best way to operate AdaptiVolt™, 24 hours a day or only certain parts of the day or of the week?

Operating AdaptiVolt™ on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis provides the most benefit to both the customers and to the utility. The only times we would recommend not operating AdaptiVolt™ to control distribution delivery voltages at the lowest allowable level is during switching operations that would disconnect end-of-line monitors and provide false voltage information to the AdaptiVolt™ system.

Operating any less than full time only reduces the energy savings that can be attained by the customers and the utility. This amounts to about the same thing as leaving lights on when they are not in use, a dripping water faucet or air leak in a factory compressed air system.
