September 22, 2005
PCS UtiliData and Power City Electric of Spokane, Washington, acting as the Prime Contractor, have been awarded a contract to provide Hydro Ottawa Limited of Ontario, Canada an AdaptiVolt™ automated voltage control system for a pilot installation at their Centrepointe Substation. This contract was awarded through the VoltR Energy Technologies sales and marketing channel.
The AdaptiVolt™ system technology couples real-time measurement of voltage at critical points within the distribution system with the ability to adjust substation voltage levels within pre-established parameters.
